Where the Power Flows, The Faith Grows

Jodeco-on-the-Road Food Pantry

Jodeco On The Road Food Pantry

Jodeco On The Road is the food pantry ministry at Jodeco Road United Methodist Church. This is an emergency pantry that is only open by appointment. We take food out to the homeless in Henry County on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month. The pantry is supported by local businesses, as well as the congregation of Jodeco Road UMC, Mount Olive Baptist Church, Jones Memorial UMC, Lovejoy UMC and Mount Carmel UMC, to name a few. The pantry provides food to Calvary Refuge Center, Haven House, In His Name Ministries, The Potter's House for Women Inc, Franklin's Farm and to Revelation Celebration Ministry (RCM, a homeless/needy outreach ministry). The pantry accepts donations of food items such as canned meats, vegetables, fruits and non-perishable items such as cereal, grits, biscuit mix, cocoa mix, bottled water, oatmeal, jello, tea, mayo, crackers, soups, peanut butter and jelly, etc.  The pantry also provides soap, paper towels, toilet paper and other personal items when available.
Cash donations to Jodeco On The Road Food Pantry and to Revelation Celebration Ministry (RCM) are used to buy food from The Atlanta Community Food Bank at a substantial savings (16 cents a pound). The Atlanta Community Food Bank, in turn, requires monthly reports on the total amount of food delivered, and, to whom the food was given, from the pantry.

Thank you for for support, prayers, donations, assistance, love, friendship, and, caring for the less fortunate. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
